| Buyer's Guide |
You must first register as a eRock.net
auction member.
1. When you find an item that interests you, click on it to learn the
details.
2. Check the sellers reputation by viewing his or her feedback
rating.
3. E-mail any questions to the seller you may have prior to placing your
bid.
4. If you are ready to bid, scroll down the item description page until
you locate the bidding area. Be sure to enter your user ID, Password, and
amount of your bid. When you're done click preview bid. Note: eRock Auction
primarily uses a proxy bidding system which means that your maximum bid is
recorded and kept secret. If someone outbids your current bid, eRock
automatically increases your bid only enough to outbid the new bid. If your
maximum is topped, you will receive an e-mail notification.
5. Carefully review what you're bidding on and how much you're agreeing
to pay for it, then click on Place Bid to finalize your bid. You'll see right
away if you are the current high bidder.
6. Once your bid is accepted you cannot take it back. If you are the
winning bidder at the close of auction, you are legally obligated to complete
the transaction. Failure to complete a transaction will result in immediate
loss of registered status.
7. Our system will automatically e-mail you if you are outbid. It is
always best to place your maximum bid amount when you place your first bid.
8. As you wait for the auction to close you'll receive daily e-mail
updates from eRock.
9. When the auction closes, if you are the winning bidder you will be
notified via e-mail by eRock administration at which time you must contact the
seller within 3 business days. The seller is then obligated to sell you the
item.
10. Pay the seller promptly and leave feedback about your experience.
This will ensure an honest and open trading environment.
11. And last but not least, always take the time to read everything very
carefully, especially if you are new to the auction.
