| Add Pictures
to Your Auctions |
FACT
People will pay more for your items
if they can see it !

Here's how to get started:
- We recommend that you use one of the newer versions of Microsoft Internet
Explorer or Netscape Communicator or AOL to be able to take advantage of all
the tools and features available to sellers.
- You need to turn your image into a computer file, using either a digital
camera or scanner and save your picture as a .jpg file on a 3.5
floppy or in a folder on your hard drive.
- Edit the image (crop the image's dimension for fast download). Nobody is
interested in seeing what your living room looks like! <smile>
- Compress your images to dramatically improve download time,

- Once you have your image converted into a .jpg file on your computer (or a
floppy disc), you are now ready to add the picture to your listing!
- eRock Auction provides you with three ways in which you can add photos to
your auction:
- If you have images on another website the easiest way for you to display
them on your auction page is to simply place the link to a photograph of your
item by entering the URL in the designated window on the "Add item to auction"
listing page.
- Have a second image you would like to display? You can do this by adding
HTML code to your item description. If you have images on another
website, you can display them on your auction page by adding a line of
HTML code into your item description that looks something like this:

OR
- Use Free Image Hosting - eRock Auction
makes this process easy, just use our Photo Upload Feature. Simply click
the browse button next to the local file field (see example below) and select
the jpg or gif file from your computer (on your floppy and or in your hard
drive) that you wish to add to your listing and it will be automatically
inserted! This new upload feature is built right into the: List a new item
form, the Edit a current auction form, and the Relist a single
auction form.
Please note that the picture will not show up in the item
listing preview.
Example Only - This is what the actual field looks like on eRock's
listing, edit, and relist pages.
