Christmas is upon us and I would like to start this memo off by addressing the 145 new members who registered over the past seven weeks on eRock. We welcome you all aboard the music auction bandwagon! Thanks to you, eRock now has just over 2000 active members.
If you haven't yet noticed, eRock has it's own internet radio station set up through Sonicnet. Does your computer have a sound card, speakers, and a half way decent internet connection? Then you can listen to some good background music while visiting the auction. In fact, I'm listening to it as I write this memo to you. The "Daily Rock Music News" link - for those of you that don't know, this is a link that I myself maintain on the auction's home page. Everyday (except maybe Sundays), usually in the afternoon, I visit five or so of the major music news sites on the web. I look for the latest rock related news articles, then I post the headline and a link to one of the actual articles on eRock's home page for your viewing pleasure. Regarding our monthly drawing - We had our first 2nd time winner in November. Yes that's right...Congratulations go out to Kevin from Waterloo Ontario in Canada for winning the monthly drawing twice in the last seven months. As it stands, only about 50 members a month are entering the drawing. That means that you have a 1 in 50 chance of winning the drawing. But you can't win if you don't enter the drawing.
